Some of our range extensions have been magic by virtue of their magnitude.

Protea convexa was extended by over 170km from its mountain stronghold on the Witteberg to the TraTra Mountains above Wuppertal. Note the extra information around the localities known from before the Protea Atlas Project (the three shaded circles) to the new localities to the west almost as far as Touwsrivier.

Note though that we did not get all the known localities. They may be extinct, extremely isolated, bad localities, errors in capturing the herbarium data or something else - without more work we cannot say.
